Admiring wild Turkeys is one of my favorite pastimes. I enjoy observing their quirkiness and highly intelligent behavior within their flock; the flaunting male displaying his feathers for the females to admire, the leader and watchful guard, the young chicks falling inline behind their mother. So you can see why I want to offer a historic Turkey rug for you to hook.
This New England design is the quintessential antique folk art rug to grace any cozy home. Charming Turkeys take center-stage and are embellished with simple and uncomplicated floral motifs. An antique hooked rug designed and made by an unknown artist.
The 40" x 30" pattern is drawn on Rug Warp. There is an adequate 5" border around the entire pattern, so that you have plenty of space for fitting your linen onto a rug-hooking frame and for finishing your completed rug. Edges are left raw and are not serged. A life-size paper pattern accompanies your order, so you can see shading and values up close when hooking your antique reproduction.
